EE 423 - Integrated Circuit Engineering (3 units) Introduction to the design and fabrication of integrated circuits. Factors limiting integrated circuits specifications are considered and new technologies are studied.
Prerequisite(s): EE 320.
Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will have an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. 3. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 4. Students will have a knowledge of contemporary issues. 5. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
