EECB 701 - Research Rotation I, II

(3 units)
Intensive research experience in ecology, evolution, and conservation biology research methods. Written reports on each research project required.

Units of Independent Study: 3
Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to carry out an advanced, independent research project on a topic for which the supervising faculty is an expert.
2. Students will be able to discuss research rotation results in the context of the scientific literature.
3. Students will be able to articulate and follow ethical principles in a scientific context, including the communication of literature research without plagiarism, the crediting of collaborators and standards for co-authorship, and principles of intellectual property.
