EECB 753 - Topics in Conservation Biology (2 to 3 units) Selected topics dealing with current research in conservation biology. Maximum of 9 credits.
Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to read and critically evaluate relevant scientific literature in the special topic of modern conservation biology. 2. Students will be able to discuss the relationship of a specialized area of conservation biology in the broader context of the field and to their own research interests. 3. Students will be able to summarize current research and critically review the literature pertaining to a specific topic in conservation biology.
