EL 762 - Planning and Strategic Management (3 units) Study of effective design, development, analysis, and implementation of strategic plans in educational organizations. Strategic management processes and procedures will be studied and analyzed.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to develop a review of research and literature related to planning models and benefits. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the role of vision and mission in the planning of organizational change. 3. Students will be able to conduct a comparative analysis of two strategic plan and corresponding evaluation methods. 4. Students will be able to conduct a SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
