EL 764 - Leadership in Higher Education (3 units) Examine the historical and current theories of leadership and their application to Higher Education.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to identify their leadership strengths. 2. Students will be able to describe how their leadership style impacts their everyday work. 3. Students will be able to describe how different leadership styles might be used effectively in higher education settings. 4. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of how leadership relates to all aspects of higher education. 5. Students will be able to examine diverse perspectives of both theory and practice of higher education leadership. 6. Students will be able to demonstrate improved skills of oral and written communication.
