Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to analyze language on the phonetic, morphological and syntactic levels.
2. Students will be able to identify and explain the various factors that produce language change and language variation.?
3. Students will be able to explain and apply the tools for analyzing semantic and syntactic meaning.
