Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to make connections between and apply theories from previous coursework and/or other disciplines to the context/topic of the Capstone course [particularly as regards earlier coursework in philosophy, literature and political science or sociology].
2. Students will be able to explain key theories in the discipline related to the course topic [i.e., show how political theories are treated in combination with the humanistic concerns of literature].
3. Students will be able to apply relevant theories from a variety of disciplines [i.e., political theory and ethics] in analyzing case studies [i.e., particular works of literature].
