GEOG 409 - GIS Design Studio

Design course applying GIS knowledge and skills, acquired through experience and course work, to real world research and practical problems. May be repeated once with approval of instructor.

Prerequisite(s): GEOG 405.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to identify and evaluate methods and tools for analysis and interpretation of geo-spatial data.
2. Students will be able to apply appropriate geo-spatial technologies to solve problems within their area of interest.
3. Students will be able to communicate the results and findings of geo-spatial analyses in written, verbal, or graphical formats.
