GEOG 416 - Spatial Analysis

Numerical techniques applied to geographical studies. Description, inference, and modeling of point patterns and georeferenced data. Practical experience with analytical software.

Prerequisite(s): A course in college-level statistics.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to compare methods and tools for analysis and interpretation of spatial data.
2. Students will be able to apply appropriate spatial statistical tools to solve problems within their area of interest.
3. Students will be able to communicate the results and findings of spatial analyses in written, verbal, or graphical formats.
