GEOG 434 - Biogeography (3 units) Brief treatment of plant and animal evolution. Prehistoric, historic and present-day world-wide distribution of plant formations and associated animal life. Examples of human impact on biotic life such as domestications, transfers and extinctions.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to evaluate natural and physical phenomena that relate to the of the earth. 2. Students will be able to analyze and apply biogeographic concepts and theory to real-world and hypothetical situations. 3.
