Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to examine and explain the physical geography, settlement patterns, cultural landscapes and environmental issues of the topic area.

3. Students will be able to describe the spatial distribution and relations of the topic area.
4. Students will be able to evaluate the human-environmental interaction of the topic area.
