Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the field of Museum Studies gained through readings, class discussion and visits to museum sites.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of current issues in the field of museum studies gained through readings, class discussion, and interaction with museum professionals.
3. Students will demonstrate specific knowledge of the specialized work of museums and related institutions through the practical experience of internships.
