HIST 320 - Hispanic Culture US (3 units) Various Hispanic groups in the United States, their history and cultural contributions to contemporary life; immigration and political issues are also discussed.
Units of Lecture: 3 Core Status: Diversity Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to analyze, evaluate, and interpret primary sources. 2. Students will be able to analyze and clearly explain the argument, main points, and use of evidence in secondary sources. 3. Students will be able to clearly and effectively articulate an original interpretation in verbal and written form. 4. Students will be able to identify key events, issues, and policies related to various Latino groups in the United States, their history and cultural contributions to contemporary life.
