Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will demonstrate, by means of discussions, examinations, and essays, their ability to analyze and interpret primary sources.
2. Students will demonstrate, by means of discussions, examinations, and essays, their ability to identify the arguments and themes of historical scholarship.
3. Students will demonstrate, by means of examinations, their knowledge of ancient, medieval, and early modern England.
4. Students will demonstrate, by means of a final project, their ability to synthesize and present complex historical information.
