Explores varied topics in the ancient Greco-Roman world from a historical perspective.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to analyze and interpret primary sources from the Greek and Roman world through discussions, written assignments, and oral presentations.
2. Students will be able to explain various aspects of ancient religion, culture and society and their development from the beginning of Greek civilization to the fall of the Roman Empire.
3. Students will be able to synthesize, analyze, and convey complex historical information by means of a final project.
