HIST 467 - Modern Jewish History (3 units) Cultural and political history of the Jews since the 17th century; Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 ; CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203 or CH 212 ; Junior or Senior standing.
Units of Lecture: 3 Core Status: Diversity, General Capstone Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to analyze, evaluate, and interpret primary sources. 2. Students will be able to analyze and clearly explain the argument, main points, and use of evidence in secondary sources. 3. Students will be able to clearly and effectively articulate an original interpretation in verbal and written form. 4. Students will be able to identify key events, issues, and policies related to the cultural and political history of the Jews since the 17th century.
