ANTH 448A - Field School in Archaeology (6 units) Summer instruction and practice in survey, excavation, and analysis.
Units of Lecture: 6 Offered: Every Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to explain the range of approaches to fieldwork used in archaeology. 2. Students will be able to apply these methods to address common research questions. 3. Students will be able to evaluate the interplay between research questions, materials and methods, and data. 4. Students will be able to formulate and articulate arguments that synthesize course material.
