ART 432 - Advanced Painting (3 units) Integration of form, space and color in advanced problems using still life, figure and landscape as points of departure.

Prerequisite(s): 6 credits in ART 332 .
Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to expand their knowledge of painting techniques while continuing to develop their personal language in relation to contemporary topics. 2. Students will be able to analyze, discuss and present their work in a professional manner during class critiques. 3. Students will be able to create a professional portfolio that will assist them in applying for Bachelor of Fine Art programs, Master of Fine Art programs, and exhibitions. 4. Students will be able to analyze and interpret critical issues and practices in the painting program.
