Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role, function, and ethical implications of supply chain management (SCM) in the context of current events in a competitive, complex and global society. 2. Students will be able to develop an understanding of the competitive advantages within all industries provided by understanding supply chain management concepts, methods, and techniques. 3. Students will be able to describe and introduce system design concepts for planning, implementing, and evolving the supply chain within organizations. 4. Students will be able to utilize SCM concepts and methods to achieve personal, professional, and organizational goals. 5. Students will be able to communicate complex perspectives with a multidiscipline approach drawing on insights from real-world experience, design, neuroscience, rhetorical technique, and many other sources.
