Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to design experimental strategies to understand key concepts in biochemistry and molecular biology. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate skills in the critical evaluation of modern biochemical and molecular biological experimental design and best practices through readings from the primary literature. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of advanced topics in biochemistry and molecular biology and the ability to effectively discuss a specific area of research. 4. Students will be able to demonstrate ability to critically evaluate and debate issues pertaining to modern biochemical and molecular biological research.
