Advanced study of cell biological processes associated with disease.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 315 .

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to describe how the simultaneous activities of multiple cellular functions are regulated and how disruption of specific pathways leads to disease.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate competency in interpreting primary research articles with an emphasis on experimental design and interpretation of results.
3. Students will be able to develop skills for interpreting primary research articles and review articles including disease case studies.
