CEE 458 - Environmental Chemistry Concepts and Design (3 units) An engineering approach to equilibrium chemistry, including acid-base chemistry, metal speciation, and reduction-oxidation chemistry, in natural environments and engineered systems.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 204 . Recommended Preparation: CHEM 220A .
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 2. Students will have the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context. 3. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
