CEE 483 - Prestressed Concrete Design (3 units) Analysis and design of prestressed concrete structures including both pre-tensioned and post-tensioned structures.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 480 .
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. 2. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 3. Students will have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility. 4. Students will have a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning. 5. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
