Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to identify major theorists, lines of inquiry, and debates related to public sphere and counterpublic theory in the discipline of communication studies.
2. Students will be able to synthesize and evaluate scholarly arguments related to public sphere and counterpublic theory.
3. Students will be able to analyze texts on a topic related to (counter)public inquiry to produce a complete research paper.
