Fundamental topics related to game design. Topics include: game design requirements, game design principles, evaluation, peer review, prototyping.

Prerequisite(s): CS 202 .

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematics, science, and engineering.
2. Students will have an ability to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs, within realistic constraints specific to the field.
3. Students will have an ability to function effectively on multi-disciplinary teams.
4. Students will have an ability to apply design and development principles in the construction of software systems or computer systems of varying complexity.
