Analysis of the economic functioning of urban areas. Urban development, location of firms and households, housing markets, urban problems and policy formulation.

Prerequisite(s): ECON 102 ; ECON 103 .

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the economic concepts important to cities.   
2. Students will be able to identify and assess urban problems, propose solutions, and evaluate performances.             
3. Students will be able to analyze data related to and produce research papers on urban issues.
