EL 726 - School Business Mgmt (3 units) The administration of school insurance, transportation, food services, purchasing, inventory control, state and federal accounting systems and budgeting procedures.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Odd Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge related planning and budget development and administration. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the information and processes related to the funding of public education. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of key factors related to local, state, and federal sources of revenue. 4. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of critical issues related to taxation and school finance. 5. Students will be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge related to systematic fiscal operations in school management. 6. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge related to accounting, auditing, and report of school financial issues.
