CHS 731 - Advanced Evaluation in Public Health (3 units) Provides students with advanced knowledge of and skills in evaluation research for public health programs and interventions.
Prerequisite(s): A master of Public Health (MPH) or related degree.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate appropriate selection and justification of research design for evaluation. 2. Students will be able to develop and deliver a presentation on an evaluation topic in a manner that facilitates learning. 3. Students will be able to critique evaluation methodology as described in the research literature. 4. Students will be able to explain and critique evaluation methodology of an evaluation plan, report, or grant proposal.
