Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. apply theoretical concepts presented in the Introductory Biochemistry (BCH 400) lecture course to practice in a laboratory setting.
2. separate, characterize and quantify proteins using chromatographic and spectrometric approaches.
3. experimentally determine the chemical and physical conditions required for optimal enzymatic activity.
4. apply the appropriate statistical and mathematical approaches to analyze data and appraise experimental results.
5. prepare written reports that comply with standard scientific formats.
