CS 460 - Compiler Construction (3 units) Introduction to compiler writing techniques, grammars for syntax definition, use of compiler writing tools, compilers for simple languages, case studies of actual compilers.
Prerequisite(s): CS 326 .
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Even Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. design, implement, and evaluate a computing or engineering solution to meet a given set of requirements, with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 2. communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts, with a range of audiences. 3. function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline, creating a collaborative and inclusive environment, establishing goals, planning tasks, and meeting objectives.
