GE 684 - Groundwater Hydrology (3 units) Hydrologic, geologic and other factors controlling groundwater flow, occurrence, development, chemistry and contamination. Elementary groundwater flow theory. Interactions between surface-subsurface hydrologic systems.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to real world water problems. 2. demonstrate ability to simulate groundwater flow and estimate hydraulic properties. 3. demonstrate ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary to solve real world hydraulic problems.
