GEOG 305 - Community Environmental Problems (3 units)
Local environmental problems involving their causes, effects and possible solutions. Examples also drawn from nearby regions and states. Local field study.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. articulate the major environmental problems in the world and the key drivers that give rise to them.
2. apply key concepts in environmental studies to compare, contrast, and evaluate the dynamics of communities and their environmental problems.
3. communicate the subject matter in written, verbal, or graphical format.
