GEOL 330 - Introduction to Geochemistry (3 units) Introduction to the chemistry of geologic processes, including low-temperature aqueous geochemistry and petrogeochemistry.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 121A and CHEM 121L or CHEM 201 ; GEOL 211 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. predict geochemical behavior from the periodic table. 2. demonstrate basic understanding of geochemical processes operative in the aqueous environment. 3. demonstrate understanding of the geochemical processes in silicate rocks.
