Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency on their instrument/voice. 2. demonstrate expanded knowledge of a broad range of repertoire past purely canonical works appropriate to their instrument/voice and idiom. 3. demonstrate at an advanced level their understanding of historical and conceptual trends within the performance tradition appropriate to their instrument/voice and idiom. 4. apply advanced pedagogical techniques learned in lessons to their private practice, preparing them to better teach themselves for the rest of their lives.
