CPE 671 - Advanced Robotics (3 units) Study and apply research methods commonly used in mobile robotics research. Understand robotic sensing, localization, navigation, perception, and control. Advanced topics in multi-robot systems.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions. 2. design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the programʼs discipline. 3. apply computer science theory and software development fundamentals to produce computing-based solutions. 4. apply engineering research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 5. design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data.
