EE 221 - Circuits II (3 units) Time domain and Laplace transform methods for analysis of electric circuits. Applications to passive and active filters. Modeling, analysis and simulation of circuits and systems.
Prerequisite(s): EE 220 with a “C” or better; MATH 285 with a “C” or better.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts. 3. function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives. 4. acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
