Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the institutional background of U.S. foreign policy. 2. discuss the goals and challenges of U.S. foreign policy. 3. contrast different theories of U.S. grand strategy. 4. evaluate international context in which U.S. foreign policy is made. 5. discuss domestic process by which U.S. foreign policy is made.
