Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe institutional and historical context of East Asian politics. 2. contrast different political systems within East Asia. 3. discuss political challenges of East Asian countries. 4. apply concepts and theories to analyze East Asian politics. 5. discuss different approaches to the study of East Asian politics. 6. appraise how domestic politics of East Asian countries impacts economy and foreign policy.
