CEP 400 - Introduction to Counseling and Guidance (3 units) Overview and orientation of the counseling profession including counseling history, skills, counselor roles, and professional development. (CEP 600 must be taken before admittance into the Counseling Program.)
Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 .
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. demonstrate understanding of the basic components of a CACREP-accredited counseling program.
