CHS 784 - Conduct and Analysis of Clinical Trials (3 units) Issues involved in the design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation of survival studies and randomized controlled trials of health interventions.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Odd Years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. analyze the purposes, strengths, and weaknesses of various study designs. 2. assess the impact of bias and heterogeneity in analytic studies. 3. implement data management techniques using SAS or other statistical software. 4. construct epidemiologic models using statistical programming.
