EDSP 485 - Special Education Practicum: Secondary Level (1 unit)
Direct experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in grades 7-12.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Integrated Elementary teaching program.
Grading Basis: S/U only
Units of Internship/Practicum: 1
Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. articulate and demonstrate team work, collaboration, and leadership in an secondary special education setting upon completion of internship or practicum.
2. identify areas of professional development and develop strategies to improve in those areas upong completion of internship or practicum.
