EDSP 716 - Interv. for Stud. w/High-Intensity Learning & Behavior Needs (3 units)
Principles, methods and materials appropriate for instruction of students with significant learning and behavioral needs. Includes instruction in IEP development and implementation.

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. use the professional literature as a means of targeting appropriate instructional interventions for students with learning disabilities by successfully completing an intervention study.
2. plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate management systems & academic programs for students with E/BD.
3. design appropriate behavioral and learning interventions for students with disabilities, based on a student case study, and design a defensible individual education plan.
