EL 764 - Leadership in Higher Education (3 units) Examine the historical and current theories of leadership and their application to Higher Education.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify their leadership strengths. 2. describe how their leadership style impacts their everyday work. 3. describe how different leadership styles might be used effectively in higher education settings. 4. demonstrate understanding of how leadership relates to all aspects of higher education. 5. examine diverse perspectives of both theory and practice of higher education leadership. 6. demonstrate improved skills of oral and written communication.
