GEOG 313 - Research Methods

Introduction to field and archival research in geography. Students will learn how to ask scientific questions and be introduced to the numerous ways of collecting, representing, and analyzing data in Geography.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. examine and compare different types of research methods in geography.
2. assess different methods and tools for analysis and interpretation of data.
