GEOL 775 - Advanced Seismology II (3 units) Theory and experiments to seismological problems; far field, surface waves and free oscillations.
Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the origins of important equations for theoretical seismology. 2. read and understand theoretical papers related to seismological research. 3. recognize theoretical and mathematical concepts relevant to research problems and apply those concepts in creative new ways.
