HDFS 472 - Contemporary Family Issues (3 units) Application of human and community sciences subject matter in the development of problem solving strategies related to issues facing families and individuals.
Prerequisite(s): HDFS 201 ; HDFS 202 ; Junior or Senior standing.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe how families function based on their values. 2. analyze and articulate in written and verbal form, issues and challenges confronting contemporary U.S. families. 3. demonstrate a thorough understanding of the material through integration of course assignments.
