ITAL 211 - Second Year Italian I (3 units) Structural review, conversation and writing, readings in modern literature. Completion of ITAL 212 satisfies the College of Liberal Arts foreign language requirement.
Prerequisite(s): ITAL 112 .

Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. describe the various kinds of places where one can shop in Italy. 2. discuss housing in Italy. 3. engage in a discussion concerning environment problems and offer possible solutions. 4. talk about Italian music and theater. 5. discuss topics, works, and figures in art and literature. 6. compare the Italian and the US political systems, they will relate general information on the history and current state of politics in Italy. 7. discuss political issues.
