MUS 647 - Directors Workshop (1 unit)
Scheduled during the Tahoe Music Camp; designed to use band, choral and orchestral groups for demonstrations. Special attention to new repertoire, program planning and supervised conducting. Individual conferences are scheduled with guest and resident music camp faculty.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze advanced conducting through observation of professional guest conductors.
2. demonstrate and hone their own conducting skills through a workshop with guest conductors.
3. apply their knowledge of conducting technique in a written paper.
