ITAL 321 - Italian Culture and Civilization (3 units) Analyze various aspects of Italian culture through lectures, readings, discussions, and research projects. Offered through USAC only.
Prerequisite(s): 4 semesters of college-level Italian.
Units of Lecture: 3 Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. identify the major events of modern Italian history. 2. describe with concrete examples the various regional differences within Italy. 3. explain the most common aspects of Italian culture. 4. create a group progect based on observations of the field. 5. evaluate the differences between their cultural identity and the cultural identity of Italy.
