CHS 704 - Grantwriting (3 units) Public health programs require funding and thus the knowledge and skills to successfully fund them. This course will guide students through the process of preparing grant proposals for funding public health programs that address the unmet needs of a population.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. design a population-based program, project, or intervention. 2. develop a grant proposal that addresses the unmet needs of a population. 3. apply procedures for evaluation of public health programs and interventions.
